PILGRIMS artist's book

This book is an exploration of maps and memory. Each Sunday of my childhood, I walked the same path from my house to church, with my family. For this project I asked my siblings to draw a map of this route from memory, and to write an account of their personal pilgrimages. The exercise revealed the differences in our memories but mainly the similarities. The dots, dashes and lines of these childhood experiences are engraved on our memories and carried with us into adulthood.
