‘The Mountain in her Hand’ was developed whilst in residence at Art Atrium's 'Artist in an Olive Garden' programme. It is a celebration of women in mountains; exploring the capacity of strength and vulnerability in learning to be at one with the landscape rather than its conqueror. It is heavily inspired by the writings of Nan Shepherd.
