‘Touching Myself’ is a response to lockdown. It is an illustrative ode to our domestic architectural spaces as both prisons and havens. It acknowledges the tension between being bereft of touch in our isolation and the capacity therein to be playful and engaging with the constant presence of ourselves. It was developed during an online residency with Phoenix Athens Art Gallery.
